TRENDnet's AC1750 dual band wireless router, model TEW-812DRU, produces the ultimate wireless experience with gigabit wireless speeds. Manage two wireless networks - the 1300 Mbps wireless AC band for the fastest wireless available and the 450 Mbps wireless N band to connect common wireless devices. The TEW-812DRU can easily handle the demands of multiple HD streams in a busy connected home.Plug in a USB flash or NAS drive to share HD videos and music across the network. I primarily got this to upgrade the speed of my ac devices in the household but all the reviews I read about its great range were sadly quite exaggerated. I've used the regular firmware and the ddwrt variation offered at trend net and haven't found a very effective time range combination, my net gear wnfr4500 still beats it by a lot but the AC speed is sufficiently fast for my advanced devices in the household. Ddwrt variant works great as bridged access point tied into my pfsense router so I still plan to keep it and try and work through other problems. Hopefully I can finish my migration off my old router to this one soon and disband my old Lan network.
